
BURLINGTON, Wash. — Businesses interested in learning how to work with Washington State agencies can take advantage of a recurring virtual workshop offered by the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES).
The Introduction to State Contracting Workshop is held on the third Thursday of each month and is designed to help businesses better understand how state contracting works, where to find upcoming opportunities, and what resources are available to help businesses begin selling products or services to Washington State agencies.
The virtual workshop includes information on:
- An introduction to state contracting
- How to find upcoming contracting opportunities
- Where to receive technical assistance
- Additional training and business resources
- Opportunities to ask questions of state procurement professionals
The workshop is especially intended for small, diverse, and veteran-owned businesses interested in exploring state contracting opportunities.
The next workshop will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 3 to 4 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. Additional workshops are offered on the third Thursday of each month, with the recurring series continuing through December 2029.
Advance registration is required. Registered participants will receive Microsoft Teams access information from DES prior to the workshop.
