Stay at Work Program
L&I reimbursement benefits per claim
- Wages: up to $10,000
- Tools/Equipment: up to $2,500
- Training: up to $1,000
- Clothing: up to $400
- Reimbursements won’t affect exp. factor

Preferred Worker Program
L&I reimbursement benefits of hiring a certified Preferred Worker
- Wages: up to $10,000
- Tools/Equipment: up to $2,500
- Clothing: up to $400
- “Continuous employment bonus” (10% up to $10,000)
- Reimbursements won’t affect exp. factor
- No new claims against your exp. factor for 3 years
- Minimal hourly risk class rate

About our presenter:
Robbie Rotz is a Return to Work Outreach Specialist with the Department of Labor & Industries. He helps employers develop return to work programs for their injured employees. In addition, he encourages the business community to take advantage of L&I’s two light duty financial incentive programs, Stay at Work and the Preferred Worker program. To date, L&I has reimbursed the employers over $60 million since 2012.
