Give clothing a second life at the annual Skagit County Clothing Swap!
The Skagit County Public Works Solid Waste Division invites community members to bring clean clothing to swap or donate, or simply come browse and take home clothing at no cost.
All clothing at the event is FREE, and you do not need to donate clothing in order to participate.
Participants may donate a maximum of two large bags of clothing. All sizes, including children’s clothing, are welcome.
Please note:
• No heavily stained items
• No underwear or socks
• Maximum of two large bags of donated clothing per participant
• No designated changing rooms will be available onsite
• There is no limit on the amount of clothing participants may take home
The event helps keep clothing and textiles out of landfills by encouraging reuse and repurposing. According to Skagit County, textiles are one of the fastest-growing waste streams in Washington, with more than 400 million pounds buried in state landfills annually.
