Senior Day in the Park

This is an information fair, free to the public, designed to educate senior citizens on healthy lifestyles and resources available to them in the community. The Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels commercial kitchen will cater the event offering free brown bag lunches to the first 500 guests.

• A stage will be set up adjacent to the shelter’s east side for a variety of entertainers.
• Information booths for seniors will be set up on the basketball courts next to the covered shelter. Organizers have been given the reference sheet outlining permit and setback requirements for tents/canopies, or groupings of them.
• Catering tables will be set up in the Meals on Wheels paved driveway and also on its north side.
