Celebrate Skagit County agriculture during the 28th Annual Skagit Valley Festival of Family Farms!
For two days, participating family farms throughout Skagit Valley open their doors and invite the community to experience local agriculture firsthand. Travel the valley at your own pace on this self-guided farm tour and discover where local food comes from, meet the farmers who grow and produce it, and enjoy the beauty of Skagit Valley during the peak of the fall harvest.
Activities vary by farm and may include:
• Farm tours and educational exhibits
• Harvest markets
• Gardening and farming demonstrations
• Free samples
• Kids activities
• Corn and hay mazes
• Animal exhibits
• Pumpkin patches
• Scenic farm experiences
• Opportunities to meet and talk with local farmers
Visitors can experience everything from fruits and vegetables to shellfish, dairy, livestock, flowers and other agricultural products while learning more about farming practices and life on a working Skagit County farm.
Admission and parking are free. Most festival activities are free unless otherwise noted.
This is a self-guided event held at multiple participating farms throughout Skagit County. Visit the official Festival of Family Farms website to view the participating farms, download or view the farm map and plan your route.
Please remember that these are working farms. Dress for the weather and use appropriate care around animals, equipment and agricultural areas.
Come spend a fall weekend exploring Skagit Valley, meeting local farmers and celebrating the agriculture that helps make our region so special!
