BDD Burlington BBQ Battle
Berry Dairy Days Burlington BBQ Battle is BACK!!! Do you think you can out BBQ your neighbor? If you think you are the best BBQ chef we are looking for you! There will be three types of meat per competitor, chicken, pork butt and beef brisket are the meat choices.
Would you like to try some of the best BBQ in Skagit? You can come be a spectator:
Hungry spectators: $10.00 (includes: 5 tickets, side veggie and water)
Little tykes: $5.00 (includes: juice box, a bag of chips, treat and hotdog)
Competitors need to have enough for a minimum of 175 servings per meat at a minimum of 2oz per sample. All meat entries will be judged on TASTE, TEXTURE, APPEARANCE. Judges will be chosen by the Burlington BBQ Battle Committee. Veggie entries will be judged by the People's Choice. All Meat Awards will be announced at 1:30 pm giving you a chance to try the winners meats again. People Choice Veggie that will be announced at 3:30.
Get a sponsor for your team and show them off! Have fun with your booth, decorations are always a plus! All entry fees are non-refundable. There is a payout for first place, second place & third place for each meat. Veggies will be voted by a "People's Choice" with bagging rights.
