Dubbed the "grand daddy of the Northwest Independence Day Celebration\," this unique extravaganza celebrates the history of both the beginning of a new nation and the rugged heritage of Sedro Woolley. The residents of the town play host to nearly 10\,000 celebrants in a five day event the culminates with a grand parade and a fireworks display on Independence Day. Other celebration include the queen coronation\, chain saw competition\, logging show\, bluegrass\, carnival\, and more.
