DESCRIPTION:We would love to invite you to come out to Camp Korey for our first ever 1K & 5K Heart and Sole Fun Run & Roll! This fun community event will definitely be one filled with a lot of heart and many different types of soles! Whether you are feeling the challenge of a 5K or are more interested in the less serious 1K\, ALL are invited to come and enjoy a morning filled with fun\, inclusion\, and a sprinkle cookie of silliness! Whether you are doing the 5K or the 1K\, everyone will be swapping out those timing chips for potato chips and chocolate chips! See you at the Finish-Line party!\n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome and encouraged to come out and join the fun! (5K = 3.1 miles) and (1K = .62 miles) \n\n\n\nEvent Details Event: Heart and Sole Fun Run & Roll 1K and 5K Date: Saturday\, September 19th Location: Camp Korey\n\n\n\n5k Check-In: 8:15 a.m.\n\n1K Check-In: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nWaves start rolling out: 10 a.m. To celebrate our summer camp theme "Waves of Wonder" we will have 4 creative starting waves! Sign up for the one that feels right for you! 5K: 10am\n\nGrey Whale Wave- This is the wave for those who\, much like the Grey Whale will be travelling the farthest! (5K = 3.1 miles) 1K: 10:15 am\n\nSailfish Wave- The sailfish is the fastest fish in the ocean at 68 mph! This wave is for our fastest runners and rollers! 1K: 10:30 am\n\nClownfish Wave- This wave is for those in costumes who want to have a bit of fun and show off as they make their way to the finish line! 1K: 10:45 am\n\nSea STAR Wave- YOU are the star! Walk\, Roll\, Stroll\, Prance\, Skip\, Gallop...this wave is for everyone! However you want to get to the finish line\, this wave is for you!\n\n\n\nFinish-line Party! Stick around after the race for a fun finish-line party! Can you say foam party? Community Art Project with MoNa? Dance Party? Firehose Shower? Costume Red Carpet Fashion Show? Visitors from the Seahawks? We can and will!\n\nCOSTUMES are highly encouraged! Individual Costumes! Group Costumes! Inflatable Costumes! You name it\, we want to see it!
