• Burlington's Legendary Men of Medicine

The City of Burlington announces the opening of a new local history exhibit. "Burlington's Legendary Men of Medicine" opens Saturday, January 6 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Information Center, 520 E. Fairhaven Ave., Burlington. Showcased in this exhibit will be medical memorabilia collected by Burlington's own Dr.  Wayne Martin.

The exhibit will pay tribute to Burlington's early medical pioneers, Dr. Fred Schacht and Dr. Hiram E. Cleveland, as well as leaders in the nursing profession.

An open mic will be offered during the opening ceremony for community members to share memories and stories about these colorful medical pioneers. The exhibit will be viewable through June 2018 during regular Burlington Chamber of Commerce business hours.
